Mushroom Producer Group (SPGJ) started its operation in 2000 from the initiative of mushroom producer of voivodeship of Łódź. It  was registered as entity in the court under Nr KRS 0000209572 on August 4th, 2000, and consequently, SPGJ obtained its legal personality.  

On May 2nd, 2007 , the Head of voivodeship of Łódź temporarily acknowledged the group
of fruits and vegetables producers –Mushroom Producer Group—in category Mushrooms. He also approved the plan of reaching an acknowledgment as an organization of fruits and vegetables producers. The Group carries on its operation in “Mushroom” category only. Today, the Group unifies 16 members who are constantly cooperating with the Group.  

The main goal of SPGJ (Mushroom Producer Group) operation is to arrange mushrooms outlet for their own producers through: 
– canvassing and developing existing outlets both domestically and internationally,
– organizing proper conditions for mushroom storage and rotation,
– organizing mushroom production measures to its own members,
– training its members in order to prepare them for production of high quality mushrooms.

The logistic storage was built in 2005 in the Group’s headquarters, 96-100 Maków, ul. Akacjowa 4, Maków commune, on the allotment area of 10.092 m2. Total useful area of this storage is 588 m2 therein preliminary cold storage, main cold storage, sorting room, packaging storage, office and sanitary accommodations, and loading ramp. This storage fulfills all safe keeping and mushroom rotation related functions.
